Paneer Ki Sabji
Paneer ki sabji is mouth watering sabji with very simple ingredients without ginger-garlic with onion,tomato and capsicum.A perfect accompaniment to roti or plain rice/zeera rice.
Ingredients
- 200 gm paneer small cube shape
- ½ cup tomato roughly chopped
- ½ cup onion finely chopped
- 1½ cup Capcium (mix of green, yellow and red) green is also ok
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 Green chilli finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp Salt as per taste
- 1 tbsp Heeng/ Asafoetida
- 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- ½ tbsp kashmiri red chili powder
- ½ tbsp Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- Heat no sticky Fry pan add ½ tbsp oil and add paneer to fry untill brown. (optional)
- Heat oil in a Kadhai,When oil is hot add Heeng/ Asafoetida and Jeera/cumin when Jeera starts to crackle, add Haldi/Turmeric Powder, Lal Mirch/Red chili powder, and Salt Mix and add Paneer ,green chili and tomato, cover and cook for 10 mins
- After 10 mins open and check if water is there than cook for two more mins to dry water. sprinkle fresh chopped coriander and serve with roti and zeera rice.
