Ohh… one of the again easy & fast making recipes. Paneer makhani is a popular Punjabi delicious curry cook with paneer, tomatoes, cashews, spices & cream.

Please note there is no onion that’s why this is different from paneer butter masala. Paneer refers to Indian cheese & Makhan refers to butter. So paneer makhani translates to paneer cooked with butter.

This is can be served with plain rice/basmati rice and naan/butter naan.

Paneer makhani is a popular Punjabi delicious curry cook with paneer, tomatoes, cashews, spices & cream.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp  cream
  • 2 tbsp  vegetable oil/ butter
  • ½ cup  paneer  cut into small cubes
  • ½ cup  butter
  • 1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste
  • 10-9 cashews nuts
  • 1 tbsp red chili
  • 1 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 big tomato cut into small cubes
  • 1 tbsp white sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp dry fenugreek leave
  • 1 Cinnamon stick small
  • 2 green cardamom
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Make a paste of tomato and cashews nuts, fine paste.
  • In a pan add oil than butter so that butter will not turn black, add cinnamon stick, cardamoms fry for 30sec, now add ginger garlic paste and cook for 1 minute. when raw smell goes add tomato puree, red chili, salt, and garam masala and saute it till oil saparates in 5 minutes and cover it with lid.
  • now add paneer mix for 1 minute, add water, sugar cook for 10 more minutes by covering then add crushed dry fenugreek leave and mix, its ready add 2 tbsp cream and server with rice or naan.
