Chickpeas salad is high protein chana salad which is very simple to make and has a chatpata taste thats makes a perfect snack which you can pack into your office /school lunch box. This refreshing salad has fresh and tangy flavors, and can be enjoyed as a great protein rich breakfast or snack. This salad is perfect to make with leftover chickpeas.
This chana salad is customizable dish in which you can add veggies as per your choise onion, capsicum, boiled potato, carrots, sweet corn, paneer and left over veggies and boiled chicken also if you like to have some non veg.
This salad suitable to add in breakfast, lunch, in iftar or in party like with biryani.
There is many ways to make this easy and quick salad but here this is made very sample in my ways, you can add more flavour like adding cutnyes Green chunety, Tamarind chutny.

Chana Salad
Chana salad is quick,easy, tasty and customizable dish good for health also.
Ingredients
- 200 gm white chana/ chickpeas soaked and boiled
- 1 onion (medium size) chopped in samll size
- 1 Â tomato chopped in samll size
- 1 cucumber cut in samll size
- â…“ lemon juice
- 1 potato boiled and chopped in small cub
- 1 tbsp chat masala
- 1 tbsp salt to taste
- 2-3 Green chili finely chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh coriander chopped
Instructions
- Wash and soak the chickpeas for 8 hours or over night. Pressure cook the chickpeas and potato at same to save time and keep aside. Â
- In a bowl, take boiled chana (chickpeas). Add chopped onion, tomato, boiled chopped potato, green chillies and lemon juice. Sprinkle chaat masala, and salt. Mix well then Garnish with Freshly chopped coriander leaves.
