Chicken lollipop is a popular Indian fried chicken appetizer. This dish is a frenched chicken winglet, wherein the meat/chicken is cut loose from the bone end and pushed down creating a Lollipop appearance.
These chicken lollipops are perfect for all occasions weddings, parties, family dinners, and for guests.This is legs of a chicken cut in such a way it forms like a lollipop shape. You can easily get cut chicken lollipops in most grocery stores. These cuts of chicken lollipops are marinated in masala and fried till crispy and juicy.
Direction for cut:
Take a whole chicken leg. Cut it in each joints. Now use a sharp knife to scrape the flesh from the chicken on each leg. Gather it together to form a drumsticks-like shape.

This dish is children’s friendly also, just make lollipops add salt, little red chilli for red color, and add sweetness and simply fry they love it.You can make cook it in Air Fryer, Oven, and normal deep fry in a pan.

Ingredients
- 8-10 pieces of Chicken Lollipop
- 3 Cups Oil for Deep Frying
- 1 tbsp Pepper Powder
- 1 tbsp dry Red Chilli Paste (I ground 3 dry red chilies with water)
- 1 tbsp Garlic Paste
- 1 tbsp Chilli Powder
- 2 tbsp Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp White Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
- 3 tbsp Tomato ketchup
- 3 tbsp Cornflour / Cornstarch
- 3 tbsp All Purpose Flour / Maida
- 1 tbsp Ajinomoto a pinch optional
Instructions
- First of all make lollipops, wash and, dry. marinate-In lollipop add all ingredients- Red Chilli Paste (I ground 3 dry red chilies with water), Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste, Chilli Powder, Pepper Powder, Salt to taste, Soya Sauce, White Vinegar, tomato ketchup, Ajinomoto a pinch (optional),keep 30 mins
- Now add Cornflour / Cornstarch, All Purpose Flour / Maida, mix well
- Heat oil for deep frying. Once the oil is hot, Drop chicken in hot oil, simmer the flame, and cook on low heat for 10 mins till the chicken is cooked, Now increase the heat and fry the chicken on high heat for 5 mins or till the chicken get crispy and cooked.
- Done, now serve.
