Mutton Korma is different than mutton curry, it is rich in flavor with yogurt, almond, and cashew nets also. In some areas add milk or cream in it to increase its flavor and texture.

Many of us have a doubt, What is mutton? let’s clear it up first.

Animal ages decided about meat name means Mutton meats and lamb meats. Mutton and lamb refer to the meat that comes from sheep if sheep are less than one-year-old referred to as lamb or more than one year or two years referred to as mutton. and In India however, we often refer to both sheep and goat meat as mutton.

Mutton meat or lamb meat is good for health as compared to other non-veg, Not only is it a rich source of high-quality protein, but it is also an outstanding source of many vitamins and minerals, including iron, zinc, and vitamin B12. Because of this, regular consumption of lamb may promote muscle growth, maintenance, and performance. In addition, it helps prevent anemia.

Here I am trying to share simple recipes of mutton which you can enjoy in a short time with rice, roti, or naan. These recipes in not from any religion or any state wise, it’s just simple what I tried for my family.

This is only one pot recipe, without marination, Mutton Korma is different than mutton curry, it is rich in flavor with yogurt, almond, and cashew nets also. In some areas add milk or cream in it to increase its flavor and texture.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg mutton small pices
  • 2 onions thinly cut
  • 1 tomato small pices
  • 2 tbsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp red chili
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 tbsp turmeric
  • ½ cup oil
  • 2 salt to tate
  • 2 cashews nuts paste
  • ½ yogurt
  • 1 cinamon stick
  • 2 black cardmom
  • ½ black paper
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh coriander

Instructions
 

  • Heat cooker or heavy bottom pan add mutton, onions, tomatoes, black paper, black cardamom, cinnamon stick, salt green chili, and turmeric mix all well now cover, and cook on a medium flame for 10 mins then 20 mins on low flame in a pan or 20 mins in cooker after 3 vessels. No need to add water because mutton releases it's own water.
  • now open and check mutton softness as needed, mix yogurt, and cashews nuts paste and add in cooking mutton gravy now mix all well and keep on cooking on low flame and mix in between because cashews nuts stick on bottom.
  • korma has a thick texture if you need to water then add 2 tbsp/⅓ cup.
  • mutton korma is ready ,serve with chopped fresh coriander and enjoy with roti, naan, and rice.
