heat oil/ghee in a cooker /instant pot, add cumin seed, bay leaves, and green cardamoms saute for 2 mins after aroma add chopped onion and saute for 2 mins now add ginger garlic paste, turmeric, and salt, green chilli, fry then add soaked rice and da mix well now add tomato, red chili, hing, saute for 2 mins now add water mix well adjusting consistency as required(dry or runny )
